Literature + Environment

Hi everyone! I am a student at UNR and am majoring in English and minoring in Literature and the Environment and was thinking that it would be really interesting for the English Lit + Environment department to collaborate with Art + Environment. I was thinking about maybe making a compilation of art and writing centered around nature and just making it a cool little publication for locals. Anyone interested?

Permalink Reply by Ashley Noel on October 12, 2008 at 4:13pm: I'm editor of the UNR literary journal, the Brushfire, so I was thinking of some sort of literary/art journal with a focus on the environment. I have a lot of experience in layout and publishing so I was thinking about starting a call for artists and writers who want to submit their work. We can publish it independently (I've published my books through lulu.com and it's a great, easy way to publish a compilation of work) or I can talk to Black Rock Press and see if they want to be a part of it.; ▶ Reply to This
